We have an active bankruptcy practice throughout all districts of North Carolina.   We represent creditors in Chapters 7, 11, 12 and 13 bankruptcy cases, and we have the experience to resolve any issue concerning bankruptcy including, but not limited to, workouts and liquidations for secured and unsecured creditors, protection of secured collateral and collection of unsecured debt, as well as discharge issues involving individual debtors.  Bankruptcy litigation in individual and business cases, involving reclamation of property, recovery of transfers, enforcement of creditor’s rights in all aspects of bankruptcy is a major part of our service to our clients.  One of our partners serves on the Eastern District Panel of Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustees, and frequently lectures for the North Carolina Bar Association’s Continuing Legal Education program concentrating in bankruptcy issues.
