Manning Chosen Again for UNC Law Alumni Board

KINSTON, N.C.—William E. “Ned” Manning, Jr. of the White & Allen, P.A. law firm has been selected to serve a second term on the University of North Carolina Law Alumni Association Board of Directors.
Manning, 41, has practiced law with the White & Allen firm since 2001. His practice is concentrated in the areas of residential and commercial real estate, title claims litigation, foreclosures, creditors’ rights and business law.
Manning received his undergraduate degree in business administration from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1988 and he graduated from the University’s School of Law in 1991.
The UNC Law Alumni Association is made up of more than 9,300 UNC law graduates, most of whom have become practitioners, educators, judges, business people and government officials.
Among its wide-ranging activities, the law alumni group has awarded many endowed scholarships based on academic performance and demonstrated need.
Manning commented, “Continuing on the alumni board of directors is meaningful to me because I believe our group makes a real contribution to the health of both the UNC law school and the University at large. It’s an honor to be a part of that in any way I can.”
All Carolina Law alumni are members of the Carolina Law Alumni Association. The Alumni Association is governed by a board of directors which consists of representatives from 14 geographic regions within the state of North Carolina, as well as members from Atlanta, New York and Washington, DC.
Manning is certified by the North Carolina State Board of Legal Specialization as a Board Certified Specialist in real property law-residential transactions. He is a principal at White & Allen, P.A. and a member of the firm’s Real Estate Department.
