White & Allen Attorneys to Conduct Free Seminars

KINSTON, N.C.—Two attorneys from Kinston-based White & Allen, P.A. will conduct free public seminars in late May designed to assist senior citizens in planning for retirement.

Wyles Johnson and Chris Henderson will lead the seminars, being presented by the North Carolina Bar Association Young Lawyers Division and sponsored by AMVETS Post 1111 of Kinston.
Johnson is a graduate of Old Dominion University and the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University. Johnson specializes in commercial law, general civil litigation and health care law. He has developed an overall specialty in law affecting the elderly.
Henderson specializes in tax law, qualified retirement plans, estate planning, estate administration, and business entities. He completed his undergraduate work at Davidson College and is also a graduate of the law school at Campbell University. Henderson earned a Master of Laws in taxation from the Villanova University School of Law.
Entitled “Estate Planning and Medicaid Eligibility Planning,” the seminars will be presented May 28 at 2 and 6 p.m. at the Business Enterprise Center, 327 N. Queen Street and May 29 at 6 p.m. in Grifton at the Train Depot, 528 Queen Street.
Attendees will also be given the Senior Citizens Handbook, a publication designed to acquaint the elderly with laws and programs affecting senior citizens in North Carolina.
