Kinston Attorney Named to Bar Association Post

KINSTON, N.C.—White & Allen, P.A. attorney Richard J. Archie has been named treasurer of the Council of the Real Property Section of the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA).

The Real Property Section of the NCBA has more than 1,700 members. The section is active in the developing and approving of copyrighted real estate forms, developing and leading continuing education courses for real estate practitioners, and strengthening consumer protection by investigating any unauthorized practice of law.

The Section also helps prepare the association’s legislative agenda for presentation to the N.C. General Assembly.

Dick Archie, 41, attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he received his B.A. in economics and political science in 1988. He graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 1991, and was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar that year.

Archie is licensed to practice before all North Carolina courts as well as the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina. His practice at White & Allen P.A. is concentrated in the area of business and in residential and commercial real estate.
