Henderson Receives Key Pension Credential

Sherwood C. “Chris” Henderson of the White & Allen, P.A. law firm recently received the Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) credential from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA).
The credential is acquired only after a rigorous education and examination program concentrated on retirement plan issues. Henderson is now among approximately 800 retirement plan professionals in the U.S. who have the CPC credential.
Henderson joined White & Allen in 1997 and became one of the firm’s shareholders and officers in 2000. White & Allen is a full-service firm with offices in Kinston, New Bern, Goldsboro and Snow Hill.
Henderson graduated from Davidson College in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish. He attended the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University and received his law degree in 1996. Chris received his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in taxation from the Villanova University School of Law in 1997.
Henderson’s practice is concentrated in the areas of tax, qualified retirement plans, estate planning, estate administration, business planning and corporations. He practices from the firm’s Kinston office.
ASPPA is a national organization of more than 6,400 retirement plan professionals, including attorneys, consultants, administrators, actuaries and accountants. Its members provide consulting and administrative services for qualified retirement plans covering millions of American workers.
