NEW BERN, N.C.—White & Allen, P.A. attorney John C. Bircher III has been selected to BUSINESS NORTH CAROLINA magazine’s Legal Elite group of North Carolina’s attorneys. Bircher’s honor was published in the magazine’s January edition.
Now in its 8th year, the magazine’s Legal Elite lawyers are chosen by their peers—more than 19,000 ballots are sent to lawyers all across the state. About three percent of the state’s attorneys are chosen as the best practitioners, according to magazine officials.
A principal at White & Allen since 2006, John has concentrated on bankruptcy since 1997 and is a Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustee for the Eastern District of North Carolina. Bircher practices in White & Allen’s New Bern office.
Bircher received his undergraduate degree from UNC-Chapel Hill in criminal justice in 1992 and his law degree from the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University in 1997.
While Bircher’s practice is concentrated in the area of bankruptcy, his other areas of emphasis include civil collections litigation and foreclosure.
He is licensed to practice before all North Carolina courts, and the Federal Court for all districts in North Carolina.
