White & Allen Attorney Chosen for Parrott Board Leadership

White & Allen, P.A. attorney John P. Marshall has been elected vice president of the board of trustees at Arendell Parrott Academy, a college preparatory day school in Kinston.
The election to the vice presidency is a prelude to becoming president of the board on January 1, 2010 and serving for two subsequent years in that role.
Parrott Academy is an independent, co-educational school enrolling students in grades TK through 12. Drawing from a nine-county region surrounding Kinston, it is the largest independent school in the region.
In his legal work, Marshall advises clients in business matters such as structuring business transactions and real estate acquisition, in addition to his civil litigation practice.
Marshall, 46, earned his undergraduate degree in business administration from Campbell University in 1984 and his law degree (magna cum laude) from the Campbell University School of Law in 1989.
