Manning Receives State Bar Award

KINSTON, N.C.—William E. “Ned” Manning, Jr. of the White & Allen, P.A. law firm headquartered here has received the Harold L. Gum Service Award for his service to the North Carolina State Bar.
Manning, 41, has practiced law with the White & Allen firm since 2001. His practice is concentrated in the areas of residential and commercial real estate, title claims litigation, foreclosures, creditors’ rights and business law.
Manning was recognized for his service as chairman of the Real Property Specialization Committee of the N.C. State Bar. According to the award requirements, the recipient is cited for dedication to legal specialization, donation of time to committee responsibilities and responsiveness to the State Bar’s needs.
Manning received his undergraduate degree in business administration from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1988 and he graduated from the University’s School of Law in 1991.
Manning is certified by the North Carolina State Board of Legal Specialization as a Board Certified Specialist in real property law-residential transactions. He is a member of White & Allen’s Real Estate Department.
