KINSTON, N.C.—White & Allen, P.A. attorney Thomas J. White, III has been elected to the board of directors of the Lenoir County Historical Association.

A Kinston resident, White is a civil trial attorney and has practiced law with White & Allen over a 42-year career.  In addition to his service with the Historical Association, White is a trustee at Lenoir County Community College.

The Lenoir County Historical Association, Inc. undertakes programs of research, publication, education, promotion and preservation related to the historical, architectural and aesthetic legacies of Lenoir County.

White attended the University of North Carolina as a Morehead Scholar and was awarded the degrees of Bachelor of Arts in 1963 and Bachelor of Laws in 1966.
