Kinston Attorney Named to Section Vice Chairmanship

KINSTON, N.C.—White & Allen, P.A. attorney Richard J. Archie has been named vice chairman of the Council of the Real Property Section of the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA).
Prior to his elevation to the vice chairmanship, Archie had served as treasurer of the Section, which has more than 1.700 members.
The Real Property Section of the NCBA assists in the development and approval of real estate forms, delivering continuing education courses to real estate practitioners, and strengthening consumer protection from the unauthorized practice of law.
The Section also helps prepare the association’s legislative agenda for the state’s General Assembly.
Dick Archie, 42, attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he received his B.A. in economics and political science in 1988. He graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 1991, and was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar that year.
Archie is licensed to practice before all North Carolina courts as well as the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina. His practice at White & Allen P.A. is concentrated in the area of business and in residential and commercial real estate.
