White & Allen Lawyer Elected to Executive Board

KINSTON, N.C.—Brian J. Gatchel, an attorney with White & Allen, P.A., has been elected to the Executive Board of the North Carolina Council of School Attorneys.
Gatchel was elected to be the Region II representative, covering Sampson, Wayne, Greene, Lenoir, Craven, Pamlico, Jones, Duplin, Onslow, Carteret, Pender, New Hanover, and Brunswick counties.
Gatchel will serve a two-year term to be completed in 2011. The North Carolina Council of School Attorneys (NCCOSA) is an affiliate of the North Carolina School Boards Association.
Gatchel earned his law degree (J.D.) and his Master of Science in Library and Information Science (MLIS) from the University of Kentucky.
Gatchel currently serves as general counsel to the Craven County Board of Education and consults as outside counsel with the Pitt County Board of Education. His practice includes commercial and residential real estate, small business law, and estate planning.
