 Chris was born in New Bern, North
Carolina on September 15, 1970. Chris graduated from Davidson
College in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in
Spanish. He attended the
Norman
Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University and
received his law degree in 1996. During Law School, Chris
received Book Awards in Elementary Jurisprudence, Trial
Advocacy I, Estate & Gift Taxation and Estate Planning.
Chris also received the first prize in the Branch Banking
& Trust Company Estate Planning and Will Drafting
Competition. Chris received his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in
Taxation from the Villanova
University School of Law in 1997.
Chris is licensed to practice before all
North Carolina State Courts, as well as the Federal District
Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina. Although
currently on inactive status due to the location of his
practice in North Carolina, Chris is also licensed to
practice in the State of Georgia. He is a member of the
North Carolina Bar Association, the American Bar
Association, the Eighth Judicial District Bar Association,
and the State Bar of Georgia.
Chris' practice is concentrated in the
areas of tax,
qualified retirement plans,
estate planning,
business planning, and corporations.
