W. Lee Percise III
Lee was born in Goldsboro, N.C., on July 13, 1982. He attended East Carolina University where he was a Dean’s List student and received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing in 2004.
He graduated from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Ala., in 2008 and passed the North Carolina Bar Examination in the summer of 2008.
While in law school, Lee was an Honor Court Justice and an International Law Scholar of Merit in the fall of 2007.
Lee is licensed to practice before all state courts in North Carolina.
In the summers of 2006 and 2007, Lee served as a summer associate with White & Allen, P.A. In this capacity, he attended client meetings, depositions, hearings and trials. He also did significant research in fields including civil litigation, contracts, corporate law, criminal law, healthcare law and real estate law.
From 2002 to 2004, Lee interned at a law firm in Greenville, N.C. He also interned with a civil litigation law firm in Charlotte, N.C., during the first half of 2005 prior to beginning law school.
Lee is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division and Litigation section.
Lee participated in Boy Scouting for several years, received his Eagle Scout award in 2000. He has been active with the Appalachian Trial Conservancy since 2004. Lee’s interests include live music, cooking and sports, especially the East Carolina University Pirates.
