White & Allen, P.A. is pleased to announce that New Bern Attorney Patrick D. “Pat” Holmes has recently become a shareholder in the firm.

A member of our legal team since 2021, Pat has been instrumental in growing the litigation practice in our New Bern office. Pat has become highly sought after by clients facing Criminal Law and Family Law matters.  He is consistently praised for the excellent and efficient service he provides, and his work has allowed our practice to serve clients in Craven, Carteret, Pamlico, and Jones counties.

Colleagues and friends describe Pat as attentive and patient; someone to go to for guidance.  He is a team player who encourages others to achieve higher results, making him an ideal candidate for becoming a shareholder.  Pat balances his priorities at work with those of being a husband and father but also finds time to be an active leader in the community; serving as a member of the Carolina East Foundation’s Advisory Committee and volunteering with the Craven County Teen Court Program and the Craven County Young Professionals Group

Professionally, Pat has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” for six straight years.  In 2023, the National Academy of Criminal Defense Attorneys named him as a “Top 10 under 40”, and in 2020, Pat was nominated as a Lawyer of Distinction in Criminal Law.

Pat states, “Joining White & Allen has been so beneficial to both my personal and professional life. From the feeling of community in the office to the community involvement outside of the office, White & Allen has fostered an environment where success comes naturally. I look forward to the many years ahead and the future growth of the firm.”
