Dee was born in Clinton, N.C., on August 29, 1974. She is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association, the North Carolina Advocates for Justice and the Eighth Judicial District Bar Association. Dee serves as the parent attorney for Family Dependency Treatment Court.
Dee is licensed to practice before all North Carolina Courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
Her practice is concentrated in the areas of criminal law, domestic law and juvenile law, and social security disability, serving Greene, Wayne, and Lenoir Counties.
Dee attended North Carolina State University and Meredith College and graduated with honors from North Carolina State University in 1995. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing education with a minor in business administration.
After teaching business and marketing in the Harnett County Public Schools, she attended the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University, graduating in 1999.
