
Amanda was born in Lancaster, Ohio, on November 16, 1985. She is licensed to practice law in the state of Ohio, all North Carolina State Courts and the United States District Court – Eastern District of North Carolina.
Amanda has been with White & Allen, P.A. for over three years assisting Wyles Johnson in his Elder Law practice. She is now fortunate to join him and concentrate on Elder and Special Needs Law. She will continue to build and expand White & Allen’s Elder Care practice and advocate for the elderly and disabled for their rights for public benefit, including navigating the laws governing Special Assistance Medicare, and Medicaid.
Her practice area also includes Incompetency and Guardianship matters and assisting the elderly and disabled if they have been victims of exploitation. Amanda is also available for families with children with disabilities and questions as to what to do as they become adults. Amanda, as a Veteran Marine spouse, is also very proud to serve military families and assist Veterans regarding benefits and their needs. She is accredited for the preparation, presentation and prosecution of claims for veteran’s benefits before the Department of Veterans Affairs.
When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her family, listening and playing music, painting, and watching football and baseball. Amanda is so thankful to make North Carolina home for her family and serve the wonderful local community and all families in Eastern North Carolina.
Amanda graduated Magna Cum Laude from The Ohio State University in 2008 with a Bachelors of Arts in English.
She then graduated from the University of Toledo College of Law in 2011. While in Law School Amanda interned with the Ohio Sixth District Court of Appeals.
