Dick was born in Chapel Hill, N.C., on January 12, 1967. He is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association, the Real Property Section, and the Eighth Judicial District Bar Association. Dick is a past president of the Real Estate Lawyers Association of North Carolina (RELANC https://relanc.com/about/), a non-profit organization that is committed to protecting the rights and interests of real property owners in our state. He also previously served as Chair of the Council of the Real Property Section of the North Carolina Bar Association.
Dick is licensed to practice before all North Carolina State Courts, as well as the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina. His practice is concentrated in the areas of business and in residential and commercial real estate.
Dick graduated from Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Va., in 1985. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and political science in 1988.
In 1991, he graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Law, and was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar that year.
